NDLTCA Caregiver of the Year Award – 2022
Toni Adam, a 4-year CNA at Hatton Prairie Village, has been awarded the prestigious Caregiver of the Year award by the North Dakota Long Term Care Association. Over 700 nominations were considered for this award. She will be recognized and honored at the Awards Gala in Bismarck in May during the LTC Convention.
Toni has been a CNA for 37 years, starting at Valley Homes in Grand Forks. As a young CNA, she learned responsibility and respect from the residents, teaching her much more than she gave them. Toni’s mother told her it was an honor to be “taking care of God’s people”. One of Toni’s nominators wrote this: I am a pastor and have visited many nursing homes. Toni is top-notch; one of the very best. Doing what she does as a CNA is not a job to her; it’s a calling. It’s her ministry of love and my mother and I are profoundly grateful.
Congratulations, Toni, on such well-deserved recognition!
